Agenda Announced for modeFRONTIER UM14

ESTECO and CPOMD are pleased to announce the tentative agenda of the modeFRONTIER International Users' Meeting 2014.

The meeting, which on the 12th and 13th May 2014 will gather 200 international users of the optimization platform, is starting to show its hand with over 30 confirmed speakers, two dedicated roundtables and training sessions held by ESTECO experts. 

As can be seen from the tentative agenda, prominent speakers from the engineering community will share their experience and insight through expert panels and application cases leveraging modeFRONTIER to lead product innovation in a variety of disciplines and industrial sectors. And that's not all, more speakers will be announced as the date draws near.

Confirmed keynote speakers include Takashi Yamazaki from Fujitsu Laboratories, Ohad Gur, Head of Aerodynamics at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), Kazuma Goto from Arup Japan and Andreas Winkler, Aerodynamics Engineer at Airbus Defence and Space. Representing the automotive sectorZafer Tastan from Ford Europe and Simome Fratti from BMW will present theri application cases during the parallel sessions while Tayeb Zeguer from JLR and Mikael Törmänen from Volvo Car Corporation will take part in the Automotive Rountable.

Alongside traditional thematic sessions - focused on specific industries or design process methodologies - the schedule includes in fact two roundtables. On the first day, an expert panel featuring engineering managers from top industrial players will deal with present challenges and future trends in the automotive field. On 13th May, an Academic Roundtable will see professors from distinguished universities around the world discussing forefront optimization-related research projects and applications. ​
